Looking to become a creative writer? The path to legend status is long, but with these tips you will be well on your way!
Tip One: To be a creative writer, you need to have an assorted collection of knowledge to fall back on. So, this means including an assortment of different books. Don’t just stick with what’s popular or what your friends suggest. Branch out and discover new genres and authors. Tip Two: If you want to connect with your readers on proofreading emotional level, it helps to write from your experiences. Of course, you can exaggerate the details, but using something you are familiar with will help create relatable situations or environments for your readers.
Tip Three: Dig deep into that imagination of yours. It doesn’t matter how crazy something may sound, write it down, it could turn into something amazing! There are no limits on imagination, and everyone is unique, so you are capable of creating unheard of wonders.
Tip Four: Every great writer has their own, unique style–something for which they they are known. Once you’re done building your creative repertoire, pick something you like and build on it, mold it into something that represents you. This will become your writing identity.

If you want your reader to delve into the story and become part of it, they need to feel like they are experiencing the story, not just watching it. So, when you describe something that is happening, describe the experience with as many senses as are relevant. Here is an example of what I mean:
Tell: The rabid black dog growled at me.
Show: Drool dripped from the mouth of the charcoal canine, while it stooped low and growled at me.
See the difference? You aren’t just describing the situation, you’re experiencing it like you would, were you there. How do you know the dog is rabid? If it’s your first encounter with it, you’d look for certain features. So, instead of saying it’s rabid, describe what your saw and felt that told you this.
